Going back to how I began - Phase I, SBD!

I think I might just be done with staying around this weight. I know what works best for me and I am going to do the South Beach Diet - Phase 1 for the next two weeks. I know my timing may be a bit off because Diwali falls within that bracket, but I will deal with it then. I am done with weighing in at 79 kg! JUST SO DONE.

So I'm going to stock up on lentil supplies, veggies, mushrooms, tofu, low fat dairy and all. I begin from this evening meal. I am ready to get rid of the next 5 kilos!!!

      It is pretty restrictive about the carb intake. No fruits, whole grans, starchy veggies :)You will stick to dairy, veggies, legumes and beans through phase 1 that lasts 2 weeks. Then you can add back the rest slowly!

  3. Good luck Sugar! I wanted to join in too, but the no fruit part scares me! I am soo used to eating fruits daily. Somehow mentally, I feel I am fit because of the fruits :D I might be wrong..
    Anyways, what do you think about the GM diet?

    1. :) any diet works.you just have to work it!! yes Phase 1 is restrictive, but only lasts 2 weeks!it just gets my sugar cravings under control!!!

  7. Sugar, All the best. MAny years ago, I did the SBD very religiously and saw amazing results . Lost 10 lbs or something like that in 2 months.
    However, I just did not like the "splenda" factor in the diet and gave it up.
    Good luck to u and all the very best. I am sure you will see results.

    1. thanks man! I cant tolerate the splenda. Am going to stick with sugar :) I dont do SBD so strictly, but ensure that my grain servings are low!
